✨Do you stick to your diet all day, and then find yourself eating Goldfish crackers in front of the TV at night?

✨Do you mess up, and then think “f*ck it” and give up?

✨Are you waiting for the perfect diet or workout video to save you?

✨Do you eat when you aren't even hungry because you were trained as a child to clean your plate?

✨Have you ever eaten something to be polite, even though you didn't want it really?

✨Do you have a sneaking suspicion that because you are over 35, perimenopause or menopause is messing with your weight?

✨Does the thought of trying to solve this problem stress you out even more than your family and your work do?

✨OR… do you simply feel there is room for improvement in your relationship with food?

 

Well, at least I used to.

At one point in time, many of these feelings, beliefs and realities were very, very true for me.

I've been there.

😢I've felt addicted to chocolate. I've been unable to sit and watch TV without a snack. I've done intense exercise that I hated just to fail to see the scale go down.

😢I've done low fat, keto, intermittent fasting, low-carb, Atkins, South Beach, and Weight Watchers. I've hired personal trainers. I've worked with a dietician. I've lost weight, only to see the scale creep back up. I've had my “fat pants” and my aspirational size clothes in the closet at the same time.

😢I've spent tremendous time and energy just trying to lose weight.

And some of it worked. Sort of. For awhile. But not long term. I was treating the symptoms, not the real problem.

😔I thought there was something wrong with me that the doctor just hadn't found.

😔I couldn't control myself.

😔I lacked willpower.

😔I had a commitment problem.

😔I loved sweets and salty crunchy snacks in front of the TV at night.

😔I felt guilty and ashamed.

But it turns out, I just didn't understand the real root cause of the issue and how to address it.

 

In 2020 I lost 50 pounds at age 46 and have kept it off ever since. I feel so much better. Fewer prescriptions, less pain, more energy. And most importantly, I just feel comfortable in my own skin.

How'd I do it?

First, I had to work on my mindset around food, eating, and movement. When I say mindset this is what I mean:

👉I had patterns, behaviors and beliefs that were not supportive to me. They were not helping me to create the life I wanted.

👉This included how I thought about food, how I responded to food, the expectations I held and reinforced when it came to the decision to eat, my dieting fears, and the words I spoke, emotions I held, energies I embodied and identity I had assigned myself when it came to taking care of my health.

And, I didn't stop there.

To teach this, and teach this well, I had to take it much deeper.

Not only did I change the role food played in my life and create new supportive beliefs around food, I began to understand the true purpose of food.

I learned a process for shifting into an energetic state of being a healthy person who enjoyed fresh fruits, vegetables, protein and movement, while still enjoying the occasional dessert. I learned to become the kind of person who genuinely enjoyed healthy food and behaviors, which eventually lead to me having a healthier, and slimmer, body.

And most interestingly, I've sustained that 50 pound weight loss now for years.

After sharing this work with many women in their 40s and 50s who are looking to change their behavior and improve their health I can tell you that the next steps and inspired guidance for losing weight naturally are different for each of us, but the results are in line with this:

Feeling relief about how and when we choose to eat

Feeling more confident around food, even in restaurants and at parties

Seeing options and opportunities for making healthy choices much more easily

Creating new habits and hobbies that make taking actions that support our health fun and easy

and overall experiencing a more relaxed relationship with food.

I've continued to increase my understanding of how people who are naturally slim think and behave around food so I can share those insights with you.

While I saw results nearly immediately when I began to do this work, the way in which I respond to, relate to, and deal with food only continues to become more natural and support me.

 

Today, I weigh 50 pounds less than I did when I started this process.

🎉I wear size 8 jeans.

🎉Everything in my closet fits.

🎉I'm not nervous and uncomforable in shorts or on the beach.

🎉I do Pilates twice a week, yoga once a week, strength train twice a week, and walk with my husband five times a week – not as punishment for being fat or as a way to get skinny, but because I feel better when I do and I enjoy it.

🎉I've added muscle, giving that firm and toned look that's harder to maintain after age 35 as perimenopause and menopause mess with our hormones.

🎉I can put my carry on bag in the overhead bin without fear of injuring myself or others.

My mental and physical transformation not only allow me to enjoy abundant health and a beautiful life, but also share what I've learned with the world on a large scale.

 

I now am an example of what is possible

when we rewire the subconscious brain

to give us what we want

with grace and ease

instead of automatically taking us back to our start weight

over and over again.

I can tell you that the students of this work repeatedly rave about how changing their mindset around food helped them to drop their weight, reduce or get off medications, shift their beliefs around eating, release their negative memories and associations with exercise, experience far less anxiety and stress in their everyday lives, around food and weight and, yes, move into the experience of manifesting, generating, receiving, keeping and having more energy and vitality with which they can live their lives.
